Here at David
Wallace we stock two of the finest ranges of breather membranes
available on the market, both of which are of the highest quality
and competitively priced. Our more advanced range is Rofatop
Magic, which is an economic, high performance vapour permeable
roof underlay by Wanit Fulgurit of Germany and our other range consists
of the DuPont Tyvek®
family of breather membranes, which is suitable for use in all forms
of pitched roof and may be used in new-build, refurbishment and
retro-fit projects.
Rofatop Magic breather membranes has higher water vapour permeability
than most other convectional types of roof underlay and will help
to remove condensation from the building. It is manufactured with
3 layers of waterproof polypropylene, which gives increased strength;
high impact and nail tear resistance. The inner layer is the functional
breather membranes that are protected both sides with a quilt.
DuPont Tyvek® breather membranes have been engineered to provide
protection of the building envelope, restricting air filtration,
deflecting water and reflecting radiation whilst allowing moisture
to migrate freely and safely to atmosphere. You can find more detailed
