Hallhook Repair Fixing


The Hallhook remedial slate repair fixing is a simple to install system which is guaranteed fail safe, The hook is virtually invisible on the finished roof, unlike the usual copper lead or plastic straps (tangs) which you normally see. The hook is a permanent solution to replacing broken slates as it is produced from high quality Stainless Steel.
This hook system is for used when replacing a broken slate or for repairing slates after replacing lead valleys, re-roofing flat roof under slate roofs or renewing facia boards when eaves slates need to be renewed.
Plastic products are visible, unsightly and time consuming to install. Some metal fixings are flimsy and others take too much time, are awkward to prepare, and if wrongly prepared the head of the slate could slip off the upper batten. Fixing with a slate hook involves trimming the head of the slate, thereby losing some head lap (a building inspector may not accept).


The Hallhook is currently available in packs of 10 units.
Each pack contains 1 hook pull and units to repair 10 slates.
