Paramo


Paramo is a Blue Black slate. The quarry have been producing slate since the end of the Nineteenth Century. Now it is also the location of the group's offices and showrooms, situated in the North West of Leon province about 35km north of Ponferrada. During the 1990's the quarry began large scale industrial extraction and manufacture to accomodate the demand for this slate. At the same time ensuring the balance of the use of advanced modern extraction combined with traditional techniques continue to keep the natural essence of the slate.
