Slate-Line Inline Vents
The Slate-Line range of ventilators is innovative in design allowing discreet solutions to roof space ventilation and of soil and domestic mechanical extraction.
The Slate-Line range comprises three different products: Slate-Line Smooth, Slate-Line Textured and Slate-Line Natural.
All three products are designed around an injection moulded grille that combines two functions: to act as a 4mm insect screen and as a baffle against wind driven rain. A catchment tray, bonded to the top cover, discharges any water entering the grille via channels in the lower section of the vent to the slates below. Each unit has an airflow capacity of 10,000mm².
Slate-Line Smooth and Slate-Line Textured are manufactured in UV stable high impact polystyrene. The Slate-Line range is suitable for use with all types of natural slate
Slate-Line Natural is a bespoke product whereby a natural slate acts as the upper cover with the catchment tray chemically bonded to it. Two bonding agents are used. Both agents allow for the differential expansion between the upper and lower portions of the unit.
All Slate-Line Natural products are 300mm wide. For use with slates less than 300mm, the anti-capillary flanges allow the adjacent slates to be trimmed to maintain bond without any worry of incurring water creep. The minimum length for the Slate-Line Natural products is 350mm Slate-Line Smooth and Slate-Line Textured are available in Blue/Black as standard. Other colours are available to order.
